DO YOU DO HOME VISITS?
Unfortunately I do not do home visits.WHAT SHOULD I WEAR FOR A MASSAGE?
It all depends on the area of the body I am treating. The area I am treating will be covered with a towel, so if I am treating your back nothing on the top half during treatment (you can keep your bra on and I will just unhook it whilst working). For the legs either underwear or loose fitting shorts.
The most important thing is that you feel comfortable during the treatment.DOES MASSAGE HURT?
It can sometimes be a little uncomfortable - especially if working on tight, tense areas or if working on trigger points or knots within the muscles. However, this will be a 'good' uncomfortable to get the muscles functioning properly again. I always ask clients for feedback during the session, so if you feel that the massage is too uncomfortable just say.
WHAT SHOULD I DO AFTER A MASSAGE?
The advice I always give clients is to have a nice hot bath or shower when they get home, doing some light stretching, and drink plenty of water.
There may be some soreness within the muscles after massage but this will only be temporary and is due to the body healing itself - if you have any questions after your treatment then contact me and I will be more than happy to answer your questions.I DON'T DO SPORTS, DO I NEED A MASSAGE?
I don't just treat athletes. I use a number of differing techniques and each massage is tailored to the clients specific needs. So if you are suffering from backache, tight muscles, tension, or stress then massage can certainly help relieve this. Before every treatment I will ask questions and base your treatment needs on this.DO YOU OFFER ADVICE AND SUPPORT AFTER MY TREATMENT?
Most certainly. If you have any questions at all either phone me or drop me an e-mail - even if you only visited the once or have not had an appointment for a while.
