Book in now for your pre and post marathon massage.
A massage before your marathon will help prepare your legs leaving them feeling refreshed and relaxed - very important before any long distance runs.
A massage after your marathon will help alleviate the soreness in your legs and help with the recovery process - repairing the damage to the muscles.

Good luck to all my clients running the Vienna marathon and half marathon this weekend.

My first race of the season yesterday and it was certainly a major surprise. The Greenwich Meridian 10k - held in Greenwich Park on an undulating course - I was treating it as a training run and expected to finish in around 46 minutes. Shocked myself by finishing in a personal best time of 40:58!!! Finished 44th overal out of 471 finishers.

My blog has been updated and there are some more marathon training tips.
If you are running a marathon this spring why not book in for a pre-race check-up so you are fully prepared for the day.

You can now follow Richard Guy Sports Massage on Twitter - join up now and get regular updates.
